Andy 60s Music Kopi Kia: Automated Coffee Barista Singapore: Sam Cooke 'Coffee Song'.

Coffee and music
That's what I seek,
Aroma filled cup
To wake me up,
Tunes shine my day
Keep the blues away.

Drinking coffee is so popular with the world that in every nook and corner of any public place one could easily find a coffee house.

After lunch at a nasi padang corner [coconut rice, peanuts and fish with chilly] we were looking for a hot drink and chanced upon a little coffee corner. But it was different. The barista wasn't human.

With ease and robotic agility we watched in silence and were in awe as the coffee 'guy' prepared our brew. Perfect cuppa indeed and well-blended as Singapore coffee drinkers love.

Here's a song about coffee from 1960. It was like 60+ years ago and the song is still relevant... Yes, you should be drinking a cuppa as you listen to this song. Enjoy guys!

Captivating song and made me wana la kopi later. It had a different feel from original singer Frank Sinatra in 40s. Thanks for introducing this song.

Thanks very much ANON.
Grateful you contribute so often.
Would be nice if you tell me who you are but then it's OK if you don't.

Yes, the Sinatra version is cool. And it's a 40s number. Truly.
Thanks again for the visit.

Your comment is just as catchy.

It's more like a Brazilian Samba but then again it's about South America.

The ROBOT COFFEE MAKER and the cute samba song by SAM COOKE make quite a combination. Check them out.

Dear Brother Andy thank you for your upload as it brings back memories of the Nat King Cole of country, Don Williams. Truly another Herculean effort by you once again for this amazing article. Please take good care of yourself and your family. All the best.

Love this song, released in 1977.. Coffee black, cigarettes, start this day, like all the rest, First thing every morning that I..

Fred Ching again many thanks. Your informative comments and CD collection sideliners are indeed helpful for these postings. Sinatra's 'True Love' was one of his top hits in the 50s. Reminds me of Grace Kelly and Bing in their movie, 'High Society'.
