Hey pallie, thanks for lettin' me know 'bout the Dino-exposure at this great blog of yours...loves how you loves our Dino and reminds your readers of ilovedinomartin...many, many Dino-thanks...
I like the Valentine's Day set-up. I guess during my younger days in the 60s, I would have done the same thing.
Dino has always been a great lover and his style of singing too conveys the feel of a cool-headed lover.
Hey pallie, 'gain you speaks such Dino-truth...all my best to my Dino-holic bro...
The first time I heard Dino was on the radio singing, 'That's Amore', so different from other singers like Bing Crosby and Frankie Laine.
Then I saw him with Jerry Lewis in 'Jumping Jacks' at an open-air cinema at the old Sims Avenue Community Centre. The screen was a large piece of white cloth stretched between two poles. When the wind blows, the cloth billows and the images turn nasty.
The projector was beside me, whirring so loudly I could hardly hear the punch-lines dished out by the crazy duo on screen.
But I love the great old days with Martin and Lewis...
