Christmas songs are popular internationally and likewise in Asia, especially in *Singapore in the 60s, the number of Christmas albums that floods the market during the season is innumerable. Many of these melodies are recorded by Asian singers but most are just covers of yuletide songs.
.The vinyl by Agnes Chan (image) is a good example. But it is a little different since the songs were pressed when she was singing in her teens. The child-like rendition of the four Christmas goodies on this EP is like the baubles on the tree, tinkling and cheerful.
.This parcel - LIFE/EP 2124 - has the title song, All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth, Mr Mistletoe, Rocking Around The Christmas Tree and The Little Drummer Boy. All songs were arranged by Wallace Chow, designed by LRIL and printed by KMIL, PJ.
Rocking Around The Xmas Tree (sidebar) was written by Johnny Marks and originally recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958.
.*Large majority of English Language speakers.

Have listened to Agnes Chan's "Rocking Around The Xmas Tree".
She has sweet and cheerful voice.
Yes she has BC but well pitched with good diction. Enough to please the teenage crowd then.
Andy, I like to listen to her songs very much when I was a teenager.
The Drummer Boy is one of my favourites. Lately, I've been listening to Christmas songs on YOutube.
Yes, she is popular. I found a few of her records while browsing around the shops. Will try to get you a few if I see them again. She has a PhD (previous posting) and is still very active.
Drummer Boy is popular indeed and is a hit with many listeners. It's got this special "pa-ram-pa-pump-pump" repetitive beat which goes down well with the crowd.
Christmas is so commercialised but it does bring cheer and good tidings during this cold season. Even Singapore gets to be chilly nowadays.
"All I Want For Christmas is my
Two Front Teeth" is a lovely Christmas song.
When I attended Ah Beng's Christmas parties, he always played this song.
Ah Beng seems a really nice guy listening to great songs of the past.
This particular song is also popular with children so sometimes parents warn them about eating too much sweets.
Wikipedia: It was composed by music teacher Donald Gardner who noticed that the children in his classes had a front tooth missing.
