Thank you front-liners who helped the fight against the Corona Virus (COVID - 19), especially the staff in hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions.
From all in Singapore, thank you very much.
Below are a few songs of gratitude and thanks.
Lyrics extracts
Wanna thank you yeah
Wanna thank you
Wanna thank you yeah
Wanna thank you
Holy sound
Holy sound yeah yeah
We just wanna give gratitude yeah
We got plenty love we wanna give to you yeah
With feel good music we're tryin' to say, say
Thank the good Lord's gonna make a way
(lyrics extract)
For teaching me how to live
Putting things in perspective
Teaching me how to give
And how to take
No mistake
We were put here together
And if I breakdown
Forgive me but it's true
That I'm aching with the love I feel inside
Thanks to You
There is so much I want to say
I love you more and more each day
You make my life worthwhile
You turned my Winter into Spring
You gave my heart a song to sing
You make my life worthwhile
Chorus...
I can't find words enough to say
How much I need your love each day
You make my life worthwhile.
Adam Faith's song had also been recorded on the late Sugiman Jahuri's vinyl album, Born Free (above). He was one of Singapore 60's music most popular singers who sang in both English and Malay.
Thanks, Front-Liners! 💝

A noble and gracious act.
And you did it in the way you know best - with songs.
It reminds me of entertainers in other countries who did the same with songs and encouragement to their soldiers in the front line.
I think this is the whole essence of Total Defence.
Young or old, rich or poor, we do our part in rallying to the call of our nation to defeat a deadly foe.
Thanks to all for the support, including TTSH whose FB page on Messenger sent me a note.
I'm just hoping more thanks will come in.
I must add my deep gratitude to NUH for allowing me to postpone two appointments due on the second week of this month and to home deliver my medication.

Dear Andy,
Thank you very much for your concern.
We really appreciate your kindness.
Coronavirus Disease in Japan is getting serious.
But we are all right.👌
We hope you are safe.
Warm regards
The virus has, so far, not been widespread in the UK but number of infected people has risen. In this area mostly have not been affected by the recent storms, apart from strong winds, but no flooding where we live.
We are all fine here. Although we are all on alert re: the Covid-19 outbreak, so far the city is unaffected, and hopefully will remain so. This outbreak is certainly concerning and worrisome...
