Andy 60's Music: Silver Strings In Concert 55th Anniversary RELC November 2019.

If I missed out your pictures please let me know. I had taken most of them from Facebook as we were too busy that evening, what with the rain outside and the long waiting sound-check inside.

It was one of those memorable nights when top bands performed on stage to an audience noisier and rowdier than the amplified instruments.

Photographs below, thanks to Linda Tan's, Richard Toh's, Facebook and placed according to the evening's schedule:

I'm having a difficult time uploading these pictures. More images coming up soon. Thanks very much.
Left: Audie Ng and Johnny Yeow.

And Andy you were wonderful on the show, my second time to see since the Last at Aegean Cruise Ship, both were enjoyable shows. 👍👏👏👏

It's really a wonderful memory Andy, and thank God I managed to come. Had been on and cancel and on with Audie, It really touches me when he mentioned he'already 77 years and still Rocking for this 55th SS anniversary show, and don't know whether he'll be rocking for the next SS Anniversary show.

Hi Andy
I like listening you and Veron because both you sang like yourselves and not Paul Anka or Connie Francis.
Was also very happy to meet Jimmy Chan.

THANK YOU ANDY
WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME.
THE AUDIENCE WAS LIKE ENERGISED BUNNY;
THE MUSICIANS SPIRITED LIVELY AND TIRELESS.

Thank you for the photos.
We had a great time listening to our local musical greats and seeing them in person.

Hey Andy,
Congrats!
Looks like last night all turned out well, Brother.
Good job.

AUDIE NG (SILVER STRINGS LEADER & BASSIST) said...

Andy
Congrats cause last night was your best performance, especially the two songs backed by Jimmy Chan was awesome and I am proud of you being the Silver Strings first singer.

I believe it is the longest show in Singapore's music history as the SS fans are so happy to sit and listen to us for three and a half hours.

I can hardly walk after standing with the bass guitar, which is so heavy, for so many hours.

Very rare to see two equally great lead guitarists playing in the same band (PETER HAN and JOHNNY YEOW) and held together by a dominant bassist.

They played and sang beautifully.

Andy sang with such ease in front of a live audience. Such youthful voice coming out of a silver-haired man.

Long live SILVER STRINGS.

Congratulations on your reunion gig. Sorry I didn't get the chance of hearing your group performance. I'm sure the crowd was toe tapping or aisle dancing. Good one mate. Rgds Cedric

I really enjoyed myself.
Even my friends had a good time.
Congrats on a fantastic concert.

When Andy sang, we are reminded of other silver-haired singers like AirSupply and Lobo.
If you just listen to their singing, you would think they are still in college.

The drummer MICHAEL CHENG, who gave the heartbeat to the music and bringing it to live, was just fabulous.

If I may make a comparison, he was better than Ringo Starr for sure.
