Haze, Haze, Choking Singapore 2019 Again & Again

Here's the first poster and it comes from John Tan, artist, photographer, and a good friend.  He immediately drew this one and sent it to me. John says, "A good poster needs no words." How true.

Thanks, John for the pictures of three people suffocating in the haze.
No more outdoor activities, and we've been kind and patient but coughing and wheezing, while others are enjoying the perks of a financial harvest when flora and fauna are destroyed for purposeful gain.
This second poster was a window view of the sun hidden by the haze this morning. When the sun can be hijacked by Man and kept shrouded, what else can happen next?

Mercy Mercy Me: Marvin Gaye. "Where did all the blue sky go? Poison is in the wind. How much more abuse from man, can she stand?"

Whoa, ah, mercy, mercy me
Oh things ain't what they used to be, no no
Where did all the blue skies go?
Poison is the wind that blows from the north and south and east.

It kind of surprises me that there is still anything left to burn in Sumatera and Kalimantan!!! And the destruction in West-Papua is going at record breaking speeds. What and who are behind all this destruction..... it really boggles the mind, if you have the time, read for yourself:

And it's not a new development as you can read in this fantastic book:

Hope you find this useful....

Best wishes from Bandung,

I am sad to hear the news from SG about haze.
Everyone has the right to enjoy the blue skies, and the bright sun, too.

Peter Cheong
God created the world for men to live happily n peacefully.
Sad to say men r destroying the world greedily.

Andy Young

The problem persists due to the web of vested interests.
The people who sit on the board of these companies are like to be establishment figures.
Like corruption, it can never be eradicated.
A few will continue to prosper at the expense of the multitude.

Sad isn't it.
Thought the current leadership of our biggest neighbor is more enlightened and progressive to work responsibly to minimize the haze issue.
Instead, we read of its Minister in charge telling Malaysia the haze the latter is choking from is not caused by them despite satellite images/data have shown otherwise.
Big bully telling the smaller one to suck it.
That's what is happening in our world, today bro.

All we can do is NOTHING!
And they get away with it for years.
Sad.
Whole island above 130 psi.
Haze is bad here.
Don't go outdoors if you can avoid.
