Thanks Uncle. Your support keeps me going. And I am still learning from you.
andy, i have the impression that you have been blogging for longer, maybe four years. you are doing very well! keep on blogging!
Thanks yg, for your encouragement.
No only for two. But learning a lot from bloggers like you and the rest of our friends.
HAPPY BIRTHDAYLICIOUS
Very, very, very. Thanks.
Keep on blogging.
Don't stop blogging.
You're gonna be a star some day.
You're gonna make a lot of people happy.
When they come to hear you blog.
Thank you sir. I don't know about being 'a star' or 'making people happy' but my hope is that the younger generation appreciate and understand that we had a golden era of music in the 60s and 70s, that it will not be forgotten as the pages of history gather dust and yellow with age.
You don't recognize this Helen Reddy song?
Yes I do sir. The chorus:
Keep on singin
Don't stop singin
You're gonna be a star someday
You're gonna make
A lot of people happy
When they come to hear you play
They said keep on singin
Keep the bells a ringin...
Like I said, if I can ring some bells, I'll be happy. About being a star and making people happy, I don't know.
Thanks again for support and visit.
Andy, Congrats. You try hard, both on stage and on your Blog. kawan.
Andy, Congrats and best wishes. Hope you'll keep on going. I visit your blog almost everyday just to check out for new items posted. I follow the 1960s music and songs more closely than those of other decades thro' Redifusion, ex-Radio Weekly, OK song books (from HK),etc. In the 60s, I used to tune the BBC radio just to listen to British Top 20s hit charts weekly. Anyway, we'll keep u in good company ! Thank you.
Thank you FL. Do you have a blog too? Perhaps you should start one and post your experiences as a reader of pop music?
I am convinced you have much to share.
And thanks to 'Kawan.' Have you seen the Silver Strings perform on stage?
Two years and more than 800 postings can be a lot but as long as I can share my information with you and others, I will try to keep going.
Congratulations on reaching your second birthday, your blog naturally. Remarkable achievement for a senior.

Thank you Roger. Your blogs are doing well too, reaching out to thousands in the world.
Please continue to keep up the good work on 60s music! :)
Its a great reference for younger
generations like us to know abt the vibrant music scene we once had in Singapore.
Btw Joseph told me that he is also writing and publishing two books about 1960s Singapore music this yr 2011. Have u heard of that news?
Yes, AJ I have left your connection and thanks for the kind words.
I have not heard about Joseph's books. I wish him all the best in his new venture.
