Old Record Shops Selling 60s Music

This area near the largest mosque in Singapore had shops selling vinyl records of both asli and Malay pop music from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
The business had since disappeared. Now there are numerous eateries.

Hehe, kesilapan tuan Andy. Itu memang blog Roger tapi saya "tumpang" saja. Minta maaf tuan Andy. Blog tuan ini amat bagus dan informatif. (Yatim)

Talking about vinyl records I spotted a shop in Beach Road (where Golden Cinema is located) selling old vinyl records and antiques. Seems it specializes in this business.

Great blog here. Unfailingly interesting. (LINDA SIM)

Thank you Linda, It's a strange coincidence but I was on my way to Golden Cinema to look for old records only yesterday evening but met a friend who knows the whereabouts of one of the Swallows. Apparently they are still jamming it up somewhere in Katong or Arab Street area.

This blog is allowing me to meet 60s music people again. Great!
