(Watch Louis Armstrong - right - 18 million viewers on You Tube)
Because of the APEC 2009 meet here in Singapore many visitors are coming to our shores. World leaders who are coming and those already present include, US President Barack Obama, China President Hu Jintao, Mrs Hillary Clinton and a host of international top guns.
Similarly, for so many years (and not many people know about it), Singapore has hosted international politicians, musicians and singers to its sandy shores.
The list of pop singers from the 60s include, Paul Anka, **Sammy Davis Junior, Pat Boone, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, *The Rolling Stones, Cliff Richard, The Shadows, Johnny Ray, Louis Armstrong, Eartha Kitt, Acker Bilk, Julie Rogers, The Blue Diamonds, Johnny Lion & The Jumping Jewels, Anneke Gronloh and many more. Even The Beatles passed through.

Thank you for pointing it out. Perhaps I should mention all the top guns coming but as this is basically a music blog, it would be out of sync with the theme.

You are welcome to come to Singapore.

Hope more singers and musicians will come this way. The entertainment scene here is quite vibrant.
