Elvis Presley's Broken Guitar For Sale Too!

Elvis Presley Auction:
Alexander Autographs in Stamford, CT in the States will hold an auction at Mohegan Sun casino on October 21-22, 2009. A number of Elvis items going up for auction including:
Martin guitar Elvis smashed onstage and gave to a fan was bought in Memphis in 1976 ($150,000-200,000)
Black sapphire ring ($3000-12,000)
Original art "GI Blues" poster ($3000-4000)
Signed promo postcard - 1959 ($600)
Elvis' hair in a keepsake locket - 1956 ($700)
This posting is not an advertisement but shows the impact Elvis Presley has on the world and 60s music. Reminds me of his song with words and music by Otis Blackwell & Winfield Scott: "Who wants to buy a heart/One broken lover's heart/One broken heart for sale..." From movie: It Happened At The World's Fair.

Wow, I bet the guitar wouldn't be worth that much if it was not broken.

More, Victor. Expensive, with Elvis' fingerprints on it. A Martin costs lots.

Elvis, still the King with more than 800 songs and one billion sold.
