Tony Ng [Baba] has passed away today. He was a professional pianist, a good guitarist and an all-round musician.
I met him while he was visiting a friend a few years ago. Tony, with his usual self was so pleasant; we just clicked easily. He was very familiar with our Singapore music scene that when tertiary students needed information for their term papers on local music or pop culture, Tony was most helpful and participated during the organised interviews.
According to an SMS going around now, Tony "used to entertain our seniors with the other musicians at our SOY events in church - before Covid. He will be missed." He had even been invited to perform in Japan.
Rest In Peace Tony.
Everyone who knew you provided the same statement, "He was such an easy going and loving friend..."
We'll miss you dear Tony, goodbye.
Our sincere condolences to your family.

"I've heard there's a wicked war a-blazing, And the taste of war I know so very well, I have no fear of death, it brings no sorrow. But how bitter will be this last farewell..."
We, his close friends called him TONY PANTUN; he can create very very funny pantuns anytime.
