This was a big deal.
He came to OLPS and agreed to do the group picture if only he sat next to Irene Yap.
"I've heard her sing before, and she's good, so I wanna sit next to this lady."
Who can say no to the King?
second movie, Loving You.
Joe Woon was not surprised. He looked like he's known Elvis all his life. Rickie was a little taken aback but very calm. Irene was shaken but happy sitting next to Mr. Presley.
But we must thank John Cher for contacting the King. Even if they are somewhere else John can get them. In the picture, I still looked stunned.
So the moral of the story is, you never who's going to visit us next at OLPS. Come on over the next time.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS. THANKS FOR VISITING US.
Hahaha! This is so funny! I almost fell off my bed reading this. Thank you, Andy for your wonderful humour! John, Joe, Rickie are going to have a blasts with this pic just like me! Thank you, Andy for being so kind to me. I love Elvis! A performer you can never take your eyes off! Still the king! Happy 84th Birthday Elvis!!

Or come to real
The next time perhaps.
Elvis didn't leave the building?
ReplyDeleteI thought it's on the 8th of January?
ReplyDeletehi Andy
ReplyDeleteI received some very kind comments about your latest fun article.
I told them your blog did not last all these years and got close to 2 million hits for nothing!
Congrats Andy!
Cheers!
Thank you all good people for the fun comments.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it Elvis still hasn't left the building, like SK mentioned.
He's still singing everywhere, his movies are always available.
You can visit his home in Memphis.
He's still being interviewed after his army stint.
He sang with Celine Dion and Martina McBride.
And hundreds of others who sing like him.
Yes, Stephen, we won't be lonesome tonight.
Hi Andy and John -
ReplyDeleteI always like serious humour too - like the late Winston Churchill.
It is always more fun to tell facts and stories with some humour.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I’ve been on leave so I’ve been out of touch. I am just checking emails today.
Anyway, there seems to be a lot happening in Singapore with Elvis dropping in and all that.
I hope you are enjoying it.
All the best
Steve

FROM HER FB POST
Although The King never set foot Down Under, for the past 26 years, close to 27,000 tourists — over double the town’s population — flood the locale for the Parkes Elvis Festival.
ReplyDeleteHeld the second weekend of January to coincide with Elvis’ birthday, the 5-day festival celebrates all things Elvis from the music to the jumpsuits.
Hi Jennie, Elvis would have been 84 if he lives!
ReplyDeleteAndy is way younger than I'm very sure!!
But it's such good humour and fun! Cheers!
