Hal David: Always Something There To Remind Me

 
Hal David had passed on at 91. Oscar-winning, Grammy-winning lyricist who in the 60s and ’70s had musical musings like, What’s It All About Alfie?, What’s New, Pussycat?, Do You Know the Way to San Jose? and What Do You Get When You Fall in Love? died on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Some of his other compositions include: Walk On By, I Say a Little Prayer, Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head, (They Long to Be) Close to You and That's What Friends Are For. With Burt Bacharach, they were one of the most successful songwriting teams in modern music history. Hal David had written about 700 songs during his career. Always Something There to Remind Me...
