There is an almost jazzy shading underneath the French folk melodic base of the song, and most of this feel and flavor is due to the group's reading and performance, rather than the songwriting itself.

A fine solo section by the female section of the group is one of the finest moments in the group's canon and makes this one of the Sandpipers' true "sleepers".

Thanks to Ivor I made this check.
chakap chakap 2noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3574244939174327228.post-13234977402617646952014-07-11T11:11:21.764+08:002014-07-11T11:11:21.764+08:00"Goodbye girl"?"Goodbye girl"?IVOR LESSLARnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3574244939174327228.post-85841681131276213132014-07-11T11:03:08.832+08:002014-07-11T11:03:08.832+08:00Thanks to you and all the rest for fabulous suppor...Thanks to you and all the rest for fabulous support for this blog.ANDY: Pop Music Not Pills. ©https://www.blogger.com/profile/10946638825812052608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3574244939174327228.post-41996272866218812072014-07-11T11:00:47.524+08:002014-07-11T11:00:47.524+08:00Hullo Andy,
