Indo - Pop Yeh Yeh 60an - Anneke Gronloh

Another star who sings in Dutch, Indonesian Malay and English. Hails from Holland, Anneke Gronloh made the big time with sing-a-longs like BURUNG KAKAK TUA, NINA BOBO, BENGAWAN SOLO... and lots more.
These songs originated from Indonesia. Without doubt her powerful voice, beautiful Eurasian looks, shapely kebaya clad figure and Dutch connections made her very popular in the region. YouTube: Key in: anneke gronloh >>>>>>>>>>>

Record image is cover for four songs covered in a successful tour of Singapore, Melaka and Colombo. They were her own favourite in 1962 for this Far Eastern Tour.

My own favourite is "Ma, he's making eyes at me."
Best.
