Les Paul & Mary Ford: A Special Tribute

One of the greatest guitarists in the world is dead. Les Paul died in a New York hospital, aged 94 on Thursday, 13th August, 2009.He was the inventor of the solid electric guitar and was also a sound recording innovator.
Together with his wife, Mary Ford (died: 1977), Les Paul produced many albums singing and playing songs that sold in millions during the 50s and 60s. Some of the songs are, Mocking Bird Hill, How High The Moon and Vaya Con Dios.

Ask any 60s music person and the same story is repeated, that Les Paul crushed his arm in an accident and, instead of having it amputated, had it permanently set at right angle so he could play his guitar again.
He is a legend. Vaya con dios, Les Paul.
