The crane as you know is associated with longevity so your prospect of blogging for another year is assured!

The beautiful stage at the Botanic Gardens should be a venue for more pop concerts. Just wondering if anyone can remember past ones.

Perhaps quiet electric guitar solos of 60s music themes could be played there, 'Godfather Theme', 'A Summer Place', 'Wonderful Land,' 'Goldfinger','Picnic' and the list goes on.

The National Parks Board could look into this idea.

There have been concerts in the past to cater to pop culture but they are few and far between. NPB could reach out to the musician's union or COMPASS and organise more of such shows. The elderly public will love them, even the younger generation too. It's a win win situation.
